The bed and breakfast industry has become very popular with many people looking to run their own. It can provide an opportunity for additional income and can provide a lifestyle that whilst hard work at times can also be very enjoyable.

When I decided to "escape to the country" I was fortunate in that I was already running a business and had a fair idea as to what might be involved. However, it very quickly became apparent that there was very little information out there written with the first time B & B owner in mind.

With that in mind I decided to write my first book:

Based on 10 years experience of being self employed and a further two years of running what has proved a very successful bed and breakfast the book was launched.
