Kerb Appeal for your B & B
First impressions count.
Drive or walk up to any hotel, guest house or bed and breakfast and within a few seconds you will made your mind
up if you want to stay.
If you watch programs like The Hotel Inspector, Channel 5 TV, it quickly becomes clear just how important kerb appeal can be.
You need to inspect the outside of your house every day, making sure litter, dead flowers, dirt and any other
debris is cleared away. If this means sweeping the footpath each morning then you need to do it.
Other items to consider include light bulbs not working, out of date information displayed, dirty windows,
broken paving, rubbish bins overflowing and weeds in the garden.
Any one of those could be sufficient to drive guests away and a guest will always remember you as the place they
didn't visit because the entrance was full of rubbish.
Common sense but one of the areas that lets most people down and one of the easiest to put right.
